way Herbalife works is that each person who wants to get started in the business has a
sponsor. The sponsor is also your mentor, your coach and helps train and support you. They play a very
important role in your success - you want to make sure you make a good
choice..here's our story..I hope we get the priviledge of helping you
make your goals and desires a reality too. Many of the people we sponsored are now leaders in Herbalife...we must be doing something right:-)
8 Years ago I was MD of an IT company and Ian was a Process Engineer - from the outside some may say we had it all, 2 great salaries, nice house, 7 month old son...BUT, the reality was we had NO work/life balance, I had a 4 hour commute 3 times a week, our lives were spent rushing from work to home and back again and we were both stressed most of the time and not making the most of the NOW with our son Josh..
I got so down about it that I decided to hand my notice in and find something closer to home and without the stress. Our priorities shifted and from there we've realised what's really important in life, which for us is us designing our day to day and time with our 2 sons and doing something with a purpose.
Luckily for us in handing my notice in my search for what to do led me to come across the Herbalife Business Opportunity, through an online advert. I read through the information, spoke with my mentor who answered my many, sceptical questions and then decided that I had faith in the company and what was on offer.
I can not praise enough all the training and support provided to help me build things up, it has all been straightforward growing our business and the 'job' satisfaction is amazing seeing the changes we are making to people's lives through the Herbalife products and through our coaching to help people understand the impact of good nutrition, and want to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
And as a plus Ian and I have improved our own health, as you can see for yourself from the photos in the attachment below! I lost 2 stone and dropped from a size 16 to a 12 and have escaped my history as a yo yo dieter! and as for Ian, he has lost 52lbs and 7 inches off his waist and as a Type 1 diabetic is fitter now than he was in his 20s, has got heavily into cycling and now is often seen heading into the hills!
On the business side within a year of getting started I had replaced my career income and Ian took voluntary redundancy and joined me in our Herbalife business just as son 2 William was born.
We've had the luxury of time with both of them, lots of relaxed, fun filled family days and been able to build a strong, profitable business from home around them.
Now they are both at school we've been able to spend more time on our business and have opened a Wellness and Training Centre in Harrogate, North Yorkshire where we can see clients and also train up new Wellness Coaches. Our passion is helping people like you achieve what it is you want - be that more income, more 'you' time, escaping a job you don't enjoy, helping others or simply finding out what amazing things you can achieve!
